Nathaniel: "Is Beauty still outside?
Ann: "Yes, she is. She is waiting for you?"
Nathaniel: "Then she will be waiting, yes indeed. I'm not going out for no one. Not even her."

Ann: "Look at her, she seems to be having fun. Just waiting on you to come out and join her. You could clean the car off while you are out there."
Nathaniel: "I'm sorry. Did you say you didn't hear me. I'm not going outside. You know what today is right."
Ann: "Just look at her. Having all kinds of fun."

 

Nathaniel: "Proof she don't need me out there." 

Ann: "Your letting her down. Look at her, she looking for you. I think she calling you. Yup, that the sound."

 

Beauty: "woooofff, wwwoooofff.'

 

Nathaniel: "She just making noise, she'll be alright. Beside I got my snack tray going on now so that's that."

Ann: "Yes, you do. May I? I still say she want you out there."

Nathaniel: "Fat chance! Last time I checked she had plenty of food. We go plenty of food. The city is shut down. As Stacie would say, "We got a snow day, no need to worry about work."
Ann: "Wow, the kids card?"

 

Nathaniel: "Honey, don't forget to bring me a beer."

Ann: "No, my friends, I'm not even going to go there."

 

 

I hope everyone was able to cope with the weather they were having. It wasn't to bad for us but it was bad enough. Have a great week everyone.



 

All's quiet on the home front.

Cara: "Hey Mom, I am hanging out at one of your favorite place in Detroit. It not to hot today so I figured I head over to Belle Isle Park. Hold on there are some Biker passing by."

Mrs. Dotson: "Hey, I thought you would be back by now. It seems like forever since me and your father seen you. Honey,  you travel to much. How in the world does Curtis deal with that?"

 

Cara: " Hey just does Mom. He understand the nature of the beast and that is what I do. I over by the casino, your favorite spot."

Mrs. Dotson: "Don't change the subject. You travel more than me and your father when we worked for Mattel. I'm just saying you have to find time to enjoy life and smell the roses Cara. No man is his own island. Hold on for a minute, I'm making me a wonderful cup of peach tea."

Cara: "We are fine Mom. I'm going to be seeing him real soon. Unlike back in the day, we have internet and Skype we can always see and talk to each other. What up anyway?  How's Dad."

Mrs. Dotson: "We won't even talk about him."
Cara: "Oh, he's running things?"

Mrs. Dotson: "Yes, if that what you call it, hee, hee. We have the grandkids over and right now all is quiet on the home front."

Cara: "What??  I'm surprise usually Beauty barking all over the place. Especially with Tommy and Nikki being together."

Mrs. Dotson: "We won't even talk about her either."

Cara: "Dang, there is a long line at the aquarium. I wanted to go in there before I headed over to the flower conservatory.  How did you end up with the kids?"

Mrs. Dotson: "Alan and Madison slowed down enough from work to take a couple of days off.  You know something you should be doing."

Cara: "I  will, I will. When I do, just so know I will be with Curtis most of the time."
Mrs. Dotson: "Promises, promises."

Cara. At least the Belle Isle Flower Conservatory is not crowded yet. I can see why you and dad got married here. It's just gorgeous. I hope the city can hold on to all it assets. It would be a shame sell it off and then privatize it, all for the mighty dollar."

 

Mrs. Dotson: "Make sure you take a picture for your dad please, he will be so tickled to see all the gorgeous flowers. I do believe that what started all his gardening. I found that spot when I was doing a photo shoot, I can't remember which campaign right now but it was perfect and I feel in love with it. I knew it was the perfect place to get married."

Cara; "It really is.  I love the pond. I will have to take a few pics and email them to dad. You know what that is what I will do. Well I won't keep you any longer. I know if everyone is down for the count your going to enjoy it."

Mrs. Dotson: " You got that right. I will talk with you soon. Be safe Cara, I love you. Remember what I said. You need to take time and smell the roses and stop all that traveling."

Cara: "I will Mom. I'm won't keep you any longer. Tell Dad I said hello and give my nieces and nephew a kiss for me. I love you."





With all the bad press Detroit is getting, I will share some of the great places to visit.  I do miss my family, favorite hangouts and great places to eat but I don't miss the snow. lol

Tommy: "Grandma! Grandma!!"

Mr. Dotson: "Wait a minute Tommy. Wait for Grandma to get out the car before go charging off.?"

Mrs. Dotson: "Hey Bookie. Honey, I won't even tell you what it looks like from where I am sitting. Hee, heee."

Mr. Dotson: "Well if it not the most beautiful women I know."
Mrs. Dotson: "I'm sure. Especially when you have little ones all over the yard."

 

Tommy: "Grandma, Grandma. I love you."
Nikki: "grandmaaa, gmma. me love."
Mrs. Dotson: "I know Princess. Paris looks content. Let me sit down for a minute."
Nikki: "Me Grandpa."

Mrs. Dotson: "Well hi there Ms. Goo, Goo. You look like you are ready for a nap. Yes, Grandma little angel is looking sooo sleepy"

 

Mrs. Dotson: "Thank goodness it a good day to be out. You seem to have everything under control."

Beauty: "woof."

Mr. Dotson: "Yes Babe, without question. I got everything under control.  You know that's how I roll around here."

Tommy: "Grandma, thank you for my bike. I love you."

Nikki: "love you grandmmaa."

Mr. Dotson: "Just listen to the kids. Grandpa makes them so happy."
 

 





Mrs. Dotson: "Yes, I hear them. This little angel is just about sleep. You must of made a good lunch for them  What did you fix the kids for lunch?"
 

  

 

Nikki: "music, dance. dance grandpa."

Mr. Dotson: "I haven't fixed them any lunch --yet."

Mrs. Dotson: "oh good Lord."

Mr. Dotson: "No really. They arrived in hype mode so I was going to let them run out of energy. Put them down for a nap then get them some lunch when the wake back up."

Nikki: "miiieeee lllaaaaa."

Mrs. Dotson: "Ok, that some control. Paris is just about sleep now. Despite her sister singing. Honey, really? It better to feed Nikki and Tommy before their naps. They tend to sleep longer."

Mr. Dotson: 'Look Beautiful, I am in complete control."
 

 

 

Tommy: "ME NOT SLEEPY GRANDMA.

Beauty: "woof, woooof. WOOOOFFFF."

Mrs. Dotson: "I hear you but I know you are wrong. YOU will be going down for a nap. You and your sister. Grandma loves you two so much, I just want to make sure you get enough rest."

 



Mrs. Dotson: "I'm going to go in here and put Paris down. I have some spaghetti in the freezer and that can be their lunch. I will call you when it ready. In the mean time, you need to get my yard back in order Mr. In Control. I hope you didn't forget the fence is being delivered today."
 

  

 

Mr. Dotson: "Well, hmm. Yes, I did forget. See, I got so wrapped up with the kids staying for a few days. You know Alan loves to spend some alone time with Madison." 

Mrs. Dotson: "Yes, that is why there are three kids now."

Beauty: "WOOF, WOOF."

Mr. Dotson; "Hush Beauty, no one is talking to you. Don't be sounding like a hater when we have five children. I'll get this all cleared up in no time. Come on Tommy, let's get ready for lunch. Grandma going to cook you some spaghetti. Come on."

Tommy: "Ok Grandpa, I help."

Stacie shares her visit

Stacie: "Hi Everybody! This is my mother and I asked her if it was ok if I shared my pictures with my new friends. Mommy say hi to my friends."

Kayla: "Hello Friends. As you can see my daughter is very excited to show you the pictures she took when she went to visit my parents."

Stacie: "Mommy brought me a camera and I read the instructions and everythng! I think  you will like my pictures."

Kayla: "Look at her setting everything up.She didn't even know I took this picture of her. She was so busy talking about putting the pictures on Flickr."

Stacie: "Mommy you took a picture of me? That's funny, hee, heee. I was waiting for the website to load. Hee, heee, hee."

Stacie: "Look at me! I was so happy to see my Grandpa. I gave him a big hug. That my cousin Kelly wanting to hug grandpa too. That my Mommy boyfriend Chris. I was at his mother's house when I asked my Grandma if I can come over."
Kayla: "I was trying to hug Grandpa too!"

Stacie: "Here I am hugging Grandma. I told her I was glad to see her."
Kayla: "She was very glad to see you too."
Stacie: "What was Beauty doing?"
Kayla: "She heard your cousin Elijah stirring aournd."

Stacie: "When I went in the house I took this picture too. Remember Mommy?"

Kayla: "Yes I remember. You surprised us."

Stacie: "Here Grandpa with Elijah. He was just waking up."

Stacie: "See Mommy I took a good picture of you and Elijah."
Kayla: "Yes you did and look how awake he is. He is just the cutest."
Stacie: "Hee, hee. Mommy you always say babies are the cutest!"
Kayla: "Your right! When it came to  you honey, you were beautiful."
Stacie: "Mommy am I beautiful now or when I was baby?"
Kayla: "You are becoming even more beautiful as you get older."

Stacie: "I like this picture Chris took of all of us. There's me, Grandpa, Grandma and Kelly. That's all I have. I hope you liked them."
Kayla; "I'm sure they do. You took great pictures. I love you honey."

Stacie: "I love you Mommy. Thank you for letting me share with my friends."

Kayla: "Let me greet everyone properly."

Kayla: "I do want to apologize for being rude the last time you saw me and Stacie. I was formally Mattel's Boot Camp Barbie. I wore a camouflage uniform, hat, official government dog tags and black boots. I had a standard issue white T shirt and khaki shorts for doing workouts in. I also had stickers that could be used on my clothing to change my rank. My daughter Stacie was part of the Mattel's Singing Holiday Sisters like Kelly her cousin. She too wore a green and silver dropped waist dress with a silver bow at the waist. She wore a silver headband in her hair, sheer silver tights and gray shoes. Just beautiful.
