Thanks Muff for the heads up!

I was so surprised when I went to Walmart and checked the doll aisle. Low and behold, there were the Sparkle Girlz Fashions. Get this, they had the single packs which I snatched up as well as the fashion packs!! I could not believe, so of course I brought them too.

I must say I am impressed with them too. I don't know who is sleeping over at Mattel but they need to step up their game. The outfits are cute, trendy and can fit a number of their dolls. I wasn't to concern about the shoes or purses someone in Dotsville will benefit from them. Diamond was kind enough to select some friends to model three of the single sold fashions and one from the pack.

The Girls: "Hello Everyone!"

First up we have Diamond of course. She sports the capris set and one shoulder top. They have a little paint splash embellishment going on. Really cute.

Then there is Raven. She wearing the knit  mock two piece outfit with the shoes. It fits her like glove! She is showing all her curves.

Skipper is sporting the another mock two piece skirt outfit. The belt is a little loose but she looks good in it. Her purse is plastic but she can still work with it. She is a pink girl so this was perfect for her.

Sweet Calista is wearing the blue and white mock two piece dress from fashion pack #3. This is a little big on her. I hiked the skirt up just a little for the picture and it is still cute  She liked this one the best  due to the "bling" on her skirt so she will keep this one and I will adjust the skirt for her.

So in conclusion, these fashions will fit many of your dolls in your collection.  At the price of $1.97 you can't beat it at all. These fashion are  oh so cute. Diamond: "I got it, Mom."

Diamond: "It's Mrs. Reivers. Please come in."

Crystal: "Let her in."

                                      

Chandra: "I hope you don't mind me stopping by like this. I just wanted to apologize for missing the Mother Day festivities."

Diamond: "It's ok Mrs. Reivers. I gave Chad your gift. I hope you like it."

Chandra: "I haven't opened it yet. I tried to catch an earlier flight but it just wasn't happening."

Crystal: "Chandra come on in and sit down and relax for awhile. We don't get to see you much."
Chandra: "I can't stay long."

Chandra: "I really wished I could of been there."
Crystal: "I'm sure everyone missed you. We sat around and just relaxed all day."
Diamond: "Trust me when she said she relaxed all day. My mother had her spot in the pool and that where she stayed, hee, hee. She had folks worried."

Crystal: "I didn't see any reason to move. You made sure everything was catered to your every needs."
Chandra: "You really stayed in one spot?
Crystal: "Sure did!"

Diamond: "Trust me Mrs. Reivers, I am feeling the aftermath too. It really was worth it. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear. There was plenty of everything."
Crystal: "Yes, her team did a great job."
Chandra: "I won't miss the next one. I better get going."

Chandra: "I really want to apologize to you in person. I really didn't mean to stop by unannounced."

Diamond: It's no biggie."

Crystal: "Don't worry about that. You can stop by anytime."

Chandra: "Thanks. Take care ladies."

Chad: "Hello Diamond, how are you?"

Diamond: "hee, hee. Hi. Your tone is so serious."

Chad: "Oh my bad. I was just wondering what you are doing later today."

Diamond: "I'm watching my brother and sisters. I took them to the park, tired them out. Then I brought them home, fed them and put them down for their naps. Even Courtney is sleep. You know how little princess is, hee hee."
Chad: "I forgot. You did say you had to babysit."
Diamond: "I don't consider it babysitting. When my mother and father are busy that what I do. I watch my brother and sisters. What is going on with you? You sure are sounding funny today."
Chad; "I'm sorry I was just wondering if you wanted to join me and my mother for dinner. We are headed over to PF Chang.  She's finally home, well at least for the time being."

Diamond: "Oh, that's all you had to say! I don't think I will be able to make it. My mother is at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Art tonight. I'm sorry."
Chad: "It no problem. Maybe next time. I'll talk with you later."
Diamond: "Please tell her hello for me. Bye."

Chandra: "So what's the verdict?" Diamond will be joining us?"
Chad: "No she is watching her brother and sisters. Her parents are working tonight."

Chandra: "Well, there is always next time. I don't have any business trips in the works so I will be around for a good while. Cheer up Sweetie, there will be other times we can get together. Me and your father just adore Diamond."

Chad: "I know Mom.   So it is just me and you tongiht. So I better go get ready. Don't forget to say hi to our friends."
Chandra: "I will do that right now. Take your time, I'm in no hurry."

Chandra: "Hi Everyone. Yes I am finally home. Finally made it to Dotsville. I have been one of the most elusive dollies EVER for Brini! She lucked and found me on Amazon at a really good price. I am the original So In Style Babyphat Barbie Doll by Mattel. Fresh out the darn box. I arrived without my shoe on(What's with that Mattel??!!) I am wearing a black, red and pink hound's tooth printed suit (It is all one piece), pink printed top with the babyphat logo. Gray plastic hoop earrings, pink graphic headband and purple "designer glasses". My black wedge shoes are included and yes they are in the box. The're just are attached to my "designer tote bag" Good news though, I am articulated!"

A Day at the Mall

 

Chad: "This really is a big mall, I'm trying to remember which wing Macy's is in. I know it seems like we are walking in circles."

Diamond: "It doesn't matter to me. I like walking and talking with you."

Chad: "I'm glad you said that. I was wonder if  you were getting upset."

Diamond: "Not at all, there's EB Games over there."
Chad: "We don't have to go in if you don't want to. I usually lose track of time in there."
Diamond: "We here, let go in. It's your favorite store."

Chad: "Every time I come in here I try out the Wii? Do you want to try."
Diamond: "It looks like a fun game too. I might try it."

Chad: "Wow!, she is good. She is racking up a lot of points."
Diamond: "You better get in line so you can go next."

Chad: "Hmm, maybe next time. I think we better head to the food court. We will both need to eat something if we try that game out."

Diamond: "Ok. What do you have a taste for? Burger and fries, pizza, wings?
Chad: "It doesn't matter, What ever you want.  It this way."


Meanwhile at the food court......

Mr. Dotson: "Ok Jr Baller, what would you like to eat?"
Mrs. Dotson: "Something good for you, that doesn't have a lot of salt in it."

Stacie: "May I have Subway. I want a sub sandwich."

Mr. Dotson: "Yes, that sound good to me.

 

Mrs. Dotson: "Then Subway it is. I sure could use an Italian sub with an ice cold coke."

Stacie: "Look Grandma it's Diamond with her boyfriend. Hey Diamond!"

Mr. Dotson: "How long has Diamond had a boyfriend? How long has this been going on."
Mrs. Dotson: "For awhile now, be nice."



Mr. Dotson: "What is this about a boyfriend?"
Diamond: "Hee, hee. About what?

Mrs. Dotson: "Don't pay him any mind."
Diamond: "Uncle Nate, he's nice and I like him AND we are on a date."
Mr. Dotson: "Spend all his money, honey. Spend it all."

Diamond: "Chad this is my uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Dotson and my cousin Stacie. This is Chad ."
Mrs. Dotson: "Nice to met you Chad."
Mr. Dotson: "Hello young man"
Chad: "Hello, nice to meet you both."

Stacie: "Hey Diamond, he's cute."

Diamond: "He's very smart too, hee, hee."

Mrs. Dotson: "Huh, what do you know about cute young lady."
Stacie: "hee, hee."

Stacie: "Smile everyone, I want to send my mother a pic.
Diamond: "Really?"
Mr. Dotson: "Yes, really! I got questions for her and that will be the proof."

Diamond: "We better get going, I'm starving."
Chad: "It was nice meeting everyone."

Mr. Dotson: "What's the hurry...."
Mrs. Dotson: "Honey, they are on a date. Let them go."

Stacie: "Hey Grandpa, this can be our date!"

Stacie: "Oops, sorry Grandma."

Mr. Dotson: "Seems like a cheap date to me. Taking a beautiful young lady out to the mall to walk around and maybe buy her something. I hope she plans on spending his money."

Mrs. Dotson: "You hear that Stacie. Since Grandpa has us out at the mall on a cheap date. Let's head to Niemen Marcus and spend ALL his money. I think you need a new purse. How about that."
Mr. Dotson: "UH....."

Stacie: "Ok Grandma. We can spend his money after lunch. I'm hungry."

Mr. Dotson: "Good Lawd, what have I done!?!!"

 

Diamond: "Hi Everyone  Please met Chad."
Chad: "Hi Everybody! My name is Chad. I am the original Disney High School Musical 2 Chad. I am wearing one of my original outfits which is a logo t-shirt, jeans and blue and white gym shoes and this single bead necklace. My other outfit consist of a solid orange t-shirt, striped blue and orange swim trunks and a pair of red sandals. As you can see I like being with Diamond. She smart, beautiful and funny. Everything a guy like me likes in a girl!

Diamond: "Hee, hee. We better get going. Have a great week everybody!"

Chad: "Nice meeting everyone. Have a great week!"
