Hello Everyone!! I'm still in the process of unpacking. I can't believe it has been two weeks in my new digs. I will have to share my new families with you soon....well hopefully. I still do not have internet!! Yes, you read that right. I am currently at my son place using his computer because I can't connect with anything!! Even my Smart TV is of no use to me!! I called AT&T for service the day I moved in on the 26th and nothing was sent, they couldn't find my info or anything. So reach out to Time Warner/Spectrum and was hoping to have my equipment and well it wasn't sent. I called yesterday to see what the problem is and they want to blame it on Fed Ex and saying it was being "held up" and they could not understand why. So if I don't have my equipment by Monday you can best believe I will send an email straight to the top of food chain and let the chips fall where they may,. Once thing about the internet, you can always find out who the district and regional manager are. Yeah, I'm a little fed up right now and you can see why I hate living in Charlotte sometimes.
Anyway for any and everyone who has family, friends and neighbors that are bracing for the hurricane, my prayers are with you. You know if we have to leave Charlotte, I'm going to grab my childhood dolls who are priceless to me and my sewing machines and heading to Detroit.
I will try and check in sooner.

ReplyDeleteWow, I hope that they get the internet thing sorted soon. It was a year here before we could get internet brought out to us. Major headache, the internet is needed for all things nowdays! I hope the move went well otherwise though, and that you're staying safe in the bad weather.
