Stacie: "Hi Aunt Madison."
Madison: "He went to do his rounds."
Madison: "Careful Nikki. Do not climb on that."
Stacie: "I'm so glad to see you."
Kayla: "Hey little Boo Boo. Let me hold him for awhile."
Madison: "Sure. I miss you too Stacie. He is almost ready for his nap. What are you guys doing this way?
Kayla: "Alan wanted me to stop by when we left the mall so I told him I would. I see little Miss. Nikki doesn't want to come and give me a hug."
Madison: "She has an attitude this morning. She doesn't want to take a nap. Kelly had doctor appointments so I went and picked up Elijah last night."
Kayla: "Where's Tommy and Paris?"
Madison: "With Grace. Miss Nikki didn't want to go with her."
Stacie: "Let me see Nikki, what you are doing?"
Nikki: "No. Making pictures."
Stacie: "Don't you tell me no or I will make you laugh."
Nikki: "HEEEE, HEEEE.!"
Kayla: "Careful Stacie."
Nikki: "HEEE, HHHEEE!"
Stacie: "Ok. Let's see the pictures now."
Nikki: "See, pictures. See. Story time."
Stacie: "Ok I will tell you a story. Let me see the pictures."
Kayla: "I think he is dozing off. Let me straighten up the toys while Nikki listen to her story."
Stacie: "Aunt Madison I think Elijah is sleep now."
Kayla: "I think someone else is sleepy."Stacie: "Nikki."
Madison: "Yes she is. She trying to fight it but she will lose."
Kayla: "I'll take Elijah in the house. Stacie will you hand me Elijah's bottle please."
Madison: "My little Nikki. Go ahead and go to sleep. Stop trying to fight it."
Nikki: "Not sleeeppyy."
Stacie: "Bye Nikki see you next time. Bye Aunt Madison."
Madison: "Well thanks for stopping by. I will tell Alan you stopped by. Sorry I was no help."
Kayla: "Don't worry about. Come on Stac let's roll."
HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE!
LOL, I was one of those kids who hate to go to sleep. Even to this day I stay awake as long as possible. I do enjoy a good nap now and again.
ReplyDeleteMuff I don't fight in anymore. I have to take a nap after I clean the house! It my son who still likes to take it to the limit then sit here saying, "Oh, I'm sleepy" or "I just need to go to bed". Mind you he's an adult! That where I got the inspiration for this post.
DeleteI love those baby toys.
ReplyDeleteThey really are cute. I have more but I could find my other kids, lol! Which is really said because I reorganize everything.
DeleteLittle Miss Nikki has her little attitude going alright, lol. Not big as the word snub but she's doing it. I like the photo where Stacie picks up Miss Nikki and gets her giggling.
ReplyDeleteLove the family vibe here. Nice to peep in ;-)
I agree, it is a snub. Since Nikki is the middle child she has a distinctive personality emerging. I love that picture too, it just shows the love between cousins.
DeleteHi Brini, lovely story! I just saw Marta's post about your clothes, wow, my compliments, you have a lot of talent! I LOVE the coat!!! Greetings from former Nymphaea (I have a new username :-) ).
ReplyDeleteThank you. When I finished the coat I was so amazed because it was so cute! I still have my barbie patterns and now that I am sewing again I am able to make some clothes for the dolls when I get a chance. I love that new user name, you sound mysterious!
DeleteHello from Spain: I love your baby accessories. Nice family photos. Nikki is like all babies. Babies do not want to sleep !!!. A very true story. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteI really do love the Happy Family doll line. They are just so fun. Yes, babies never want to go to sleep and when they do the wake up looking confused from using all their energy to stay awake.
DeleteNice story! I have been wanting a Nikki toddler for a while but the prices are so high! I got a Nik that I plan to turn into a Nikki! I saw the clothes on Marta's blog too! Great Job! I love that green coat!
ReplyDeleteI was so glad I brought my dolls when the came out because I was collecting in a different avenue but my oh my, the prices are crazy. I hope you her. I never got the neighborhood kids but I still check their prices. Thank you for the compliment on the Marta's wardrobe. I LOVE that coat too, it was so cute when I finished I almost kept it. I had a lot of fun sewing too. I realized just how much I missed it, that darn doll!
DeleteDo you have a pattern for the coat? I would love to make one too

ReplyDeleteI didn't know your blog until today and I think it's very cool! I always admire collectors with time and creativity enough to set up these stories. When you have the time, stop by my blog too ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by V and you are always welcome. I do like to have fun when I play.
DeleteNothing like a toddler with an attitude. It can wreck your whole day. Brings back memories when I babysat my 2 yr old niece. Attitude with a capital A. I'm sure little Nikki will be better after her nap. BRAVO for your Marta wardrobe. That is going to be the most stylish grandma in the Barbie world.
