Finally....

Ann: "HONEY!, I'M HEADED OUT NOW!"

Nathaniel: "I'm right here. Looks to me like you can't wait to get out of here."

Ann: "Huh, I feel like I have been sitting on the shelf, like forever! As Stacie would say. I hear there are new faces in the community. I haven't been able to catch up with Rita, Dana, Akira and the rest of the ladies."

Nathaniel: "I'm just saying. I could'nt even get some sugar before your left."

Ann: "I tried to give you kiss but when I said I was headed to Saks you turned your head."
Nathaniel: "Somehow you saying Saks and trying to give me some sugar didn't compute in my mind. My thoughts went straight to the expectant bill."

Ann: "Oh Honey, such little faith. I'm just looking. Rita and Akira are doing the shopping, not me. Im just ready to enjoy my dinner at the Cheesecake Factory."
Nathaniel: "Sure. sure. How long have we been married?"
Ann: "Whatever. As former President Obama would say, "Ann Out!"

Nathaniel: "Hello my friends! Notice she didn't say anything about bring me some dinner!? Dotsville has been going through some real life "stuff". Which exactly is what it is "stuff" We know God got our back and the "stuff" will pass!"  As my wife mention, we have had some new faces and hopefully we will be able to meet them soon. I must say, I'm glad to be back!"

Just so you know....

Ann: "Thank goodness, I'm almost done."

Doorbell Chimes

Rita: "Hmm, I don't hear Beauty."

Ann: "Hi Rita, come on in."
Rita: "Hi Ann, I hope you not busy. Where's Beauty? I didn't hear any barking."
Ann: "Kayla has her, you know she has a social life.  I just put on some coffee."

Rita: "I see your in your creative zone. Just sewing your heart out huh? Well wait til I tell you this."
Ann: "Hold on, let me get the coffee. It must be something really good."

Rita: "It is and your are not going to believe it either. Guess who Rex saw at the dog park. I'm telling you, you are not going to believe it."

Ann: "I can't imagine, who?"
Rita: "Dana! Yes, Dana. With her new man! Which tells me she not that busy with work hee, hee."
Ann: "Wow, didn't see that coming. Hmm, so all this time she been unavailable, she been with her new man? He must be a good catch."

Rita: "Rex's says he's retired form the Air Force or some force. Anyway, that why we haven't seen her around lately. Rex said they look really happy together and he has a big sheep dog named Maximus"
Ann: "Really? Sounds.....wait, you don't even have a dog so why is Rex at the park?"
Rita: "Who knows. He always doing something different. Now that he's retired he says he want to keep busy. Mind you, he just retired this month."
Ann: "He's still new to this. Once he adjust to not getting up, working late nights. Look at me and Nathaniel, we love it."
Rita: "I hear ya."

Rita: "So who is this fancy frock for? I do like the jacket."
Ann: "Something I have been working on. Would you believe I ran out of black thread for the dress. So I will have to finish the zipper later. I figured I might as well finish the jacket."
Rita: "Well you can always make me a jacket or two."

Rita: "Well, I better get going. Thanks for the coffee and cake."
Ann: "Thanks for stopping by."
Rita: "I'm just tickled about Dana. She always says she so busy with work."
Ann: "Sounds like Cara, hee. hee. Where are you headed anyway?"
Rita: "Your favorite place."
Ann: "Wait a minute. You come in here talking about Dana and your going to Macy's??? Let me get my purse and coat. Heck, I can always buy another shower curtain."

It's getting to be that time!

Mrs. Dotson: "Cara do we have everything."
Cara: "I'm sure we do as long as we have Dad's American Express card we are good."

Mr. Dotson: "I heard that!"

Cara: "Dad you know it true. You make things happen and I love you for that."

Mr. Dotson: "Do I? Then let me get you and Curtis married so you can keep up with his American Express card."

Mrs. Dotson: "Speaking of  Curtis. Where is he? I haven't seen him since the move."
Mr. Dotson: "You know now that you mentioned it. I haven't seen him in a good while."

Cara: "I haven't spoken to him either. I'm sure he assisting others with getting settled. There are still boxes that need to be emptied, donations to be made. I know he wanted me to work on the redevelopment of the community center but it still a work in progress, I guess. Anyhoo,
Dad, you are the love of my life, why would you want to put me off on someone else?"

Mr. Dotson: "It worked for your brothers and sisters."

Mrs Dotson: "Where is my Macy's card? Honey, did you take my card?

(Doorbell chimes)

Madison: "Hey, what's going on family."
Mr. Dotson: "Oh, Paris is sleep. I was hoping she would be up."
Madison: "She was dozing off when I left the house."

Mrs. Dotson: "Don't worry Honey, you can enjoy her while were out. Come on ladies."
Cara: "Yes, showcase her with you charm."

Madison: "Wow, this is your lucky day."

Mr. Dotson: "Wait, WHAT?"
Mrs. Dotson: "Bye Honey,kiss, kiss. Please tell our friends about the annual giveaway.'

Mr. Dotson: "Well Hello Everyone! It does seem like it has been awhile and there have so many good things happening here in Dotsville. We have quite a few new faces in the neighborhood. I do want to tell you about the 2015 Annual Christmas Giveaways. The weekly drawings will begin on Sunday, November 29th so do stop back by or check back whenever you get a chance. They will be open to everyone and it will be no cost to you. It really is a great way to enjoy the holiday season. I'm sure all the rules will be explained. Now my little granddaughter is finally asleep so I will talk with you soon."

Ann: "Sure, how did she enjoy story time?
Nathaniel: "She had a great time. All the kids were there enjoying themselves too. I seen Akira grandkids and Ava's daughter. Her niece is in town too. She so tall now."

Beauty: 'WOOF!, WOOF!"

Ann: "Just a minute."

Beauty: "WOOOOF!, WOOOOFFF!"

Nathaniel: "GET THEM BEAUTY, GET THEM!"

Ann: "You and Beauty need to be quiet. You want to hold on or call me back."
Nathaniel: "Neither. I'll see you later. I'm headed to McDonald's now. Bye Babe."

Vanessa: "Ok Beauty, it's only me."

Ann: Step back Beauty so Sae can come in."
Vanessa: "I just want to visit, Beauty."
Beauty: "mmmmp. mmmmpp."

 Ann: "It's so good to see you!"

Vanessa: "It so good to see you too! I really miss you."

Ann: "Come, sit. Tell me what's going on. Where have you been? Where has your latest shoot taken you?"

Vanessa: "Yes Beauty, I have a hug for you too."
Beauty: "wooof."
Beauty: "Beauty get down. Sae don't get caught up in her antics. She gets enough attention."

Vanessa: "I have been in Italy, Germany and Spain working the runways. Once I finished up with all that, I took off to Toronto to visit some friends."
Ann: "Oh how I miss all the traveling when I was your age. I used to leave Cara, Nathan and Shawyna with my husband and be gone on business trips for Mattel. It was so great. It's glamorous and hectic at the same time. Loved it."
Vanessa: "I don't know, you seem to like the retirement life too. Your always so stunning when I see you."

Ann: "HEE, HEEE! That's because I keep my husband busy. He took Kelly to the library today and well, I'm sitting here enjoying ME! We always make time for ourselves so we don't drive each other nuts."

Vanessa: "I just can't see that. Mr. Dotson is so lovable. He so kind to everyone he meets."
Ann: "He is, hee, hee. Are you in a hurry? Let's take Beauty for a walk."
Beauty: "Woof."
Vanessa: "Sure."

Cara: "Hey Mom look who I have with me."

 

 

Ann: "What is this? Hey there Bumpkin, whatcha you doing with Aunt Cara today. How in the world did you end you with him. Where's Kelly?"
Elijah: "mmm..mmm"
Cara: "I told Shawna that I was coming to kidnap the kids today but little Miss. Kelly wanted to stay with her Daddy. So she packed up Elijah so fast and hurried us out the door. Where Dad?"
Ann: "Don't speak him up! Him and Rex when to Lowe's or Home Depot. I tuned him out as soon as he walked out the door and set up my sewing machine."
Beauty: "wooooo, wwoooff."

 

 

Ann: "Ok Beauty, no need to be alarmed. Cara has done this before."

Beauty: "woof." 



Cara: Really Beauty? You got a lot of nerve with your noisy self!"
Ann: "On second thought Beauty maybe you should stay on guard. Sounds like Cara getting nervous."

 

Cara: "Anyhoo, I will be right back. I going to the car to get your fabric. Come on Beauty, be useful"

Ann: "Oh Sweetie, you didn't have to do that. I would of picked it up between now and Tuesday."

Cara: "What with the truck in the driveway? What  is Dad up to now."

Ann: "Not him, the city, They have been cutting trees down and inspecting the power lines."

Beauty: "Woooff, wwooowwooooff." 

 

 

Ann: "That doesn't look like everything I ordered. I should have at least 8 bolts of fabric."

Cara: "Only two came in and it not for your curtains."

Ann: "I wonder why it taking so long. I don't want to finish the kitchen walls with out my curtain."

Cara: "Does it really make a difference? Do the walls and call it a day."

Ann: "The curtain will determine if I want to tile or not. C'mon girl, you know how I do. I'm just ready to finish my kitchen. Oh well never loss sleep over something you can't control."

 

 

Cara: "These are gorgeous. What is this for? You been doing a lot of sewing lately. I hope I get a outfit or two."

Ann: "A gift for an old friend of mine. Do you remember Ms. Tressy."

Cara: "No, not really.

Ann: "Well she lives in Poland now and I want to send her something special. Remember, first me, then the grandkids, then everyone else!"

 

 

Cara: "Well Ms. Tressy is going to love this material. It so pretty. What else have you been sewing? Who is this pillow and blanket for?

Ann: "That's Kelly sleeping bag and pillow. I was finishing up when you walked in the door.  You know when I am by myself I create." 

 

 

Cara: "Well it is very cute. Why don't I let Beauty back in and we go to lunch. Anywhere you want to go, it my treat."

Ann: "Alright then, let wrap up Elijah and hit the road. Beauty can stay outside."
