Picking up Stacie

BEEEEEEP, BEEEEEEP.

Cara: "Hey Babe, what's going on with you?"

Curtis: "You! Just had a momment in between meeting so I figured I check on you and see what's going on."

Cara: "I'm getting ready to pick up my niece Stacie from over at the Clarks. I'm actually pulling in the drive way.  She called and wanted to come over so I figured I better come get her and take her out for awhile. How's  California?"
Curtis: "Still recovering from the mini earthquakes. I'm going to be out here for a few more weeks."
Cara: "I figured that much. Maybe I can come out that way."
Curtis: "You know your welcome anytime. I'll give you call later. I got to get back to this meeting."
Cara: "I understand. I'll call you later tonite. Bye Honey."
Curtis: "Bye."



 

Stacie: "Chris!, Chris! My Aunt Cara is here. She getting out of the car now."

Chris: "Here I come. You can get the door."

Cara: "Hmmm, hmmmm., lllaaaaa."

Stacie: "Hi Aunt Cara, please come in. I just need to get my shoes and I will be ready."
Chris: "Goodness Stacie, let her get in the house. Come on in Cara."

Stacie: "Hi Aunt Cara I miss you. I can't wait to hang out with you."
Cara: "Well, hello to you too. I'm so happy you wanted to come hang out with me. How are you Chris."

Chris: "I'm good. As you can see she is so excited to see you. She usually next door playing with Allison. I hope you ate your Wheaties."
Cara: "Oh honey, I got this. Stacie and I are going over to my cousin Crystal house and if the kids are there then we are good! She is the perfect helper."
Chris: "She really is but  you know she likes to multi-task like her Aunt."
Cara: "Yes she does!"
Stacie: "Here I come! I'm ready!"

Stacie: "Bye Chris!! See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!"
Cara: "That right, tell him. Wouldn't want to be ya!"

 

Chris: "SEE YA, WOULDN'T WANT TO BE YA! BE SAFE!"



 

Stacie: "Next stop Aunt Cara is Crystals. right?"
Cara: "Absolutely!"
Stacie: "As Grandma would say, LET'S ROLL!"
Cara: "hee, heee"

Headed to the reception.

Cara: "Danielle was such a beautiful bride. That dress made her look like a princess. Sae is going to trip out when she sees the pictures."
Curtis: "She really was and Rod looked really happy. If funny how life turns out. He says she is such a special women. He says he and I quote. "I can't let this one get away from me". I am happy for him, funny how life turns out."
Cara: "Look like it going to take awhile to get to the reception. Look at the parking lot."
Curtis: "Hopefully it won't take that long."





Curtis: "OK, now where is the car?"

Cara: "It over there Babe. Did you get so caught up in the ceremony your forget where we parked?"

Curtis: " I do believe I was trying to get caught up in you."

Cara: "Oh yeah, you were tyring to mess up my makeup."



Curtis: "Makeup, hair, shoes. Hmmm call it what you like. You just look so beautiful."
Cara: "I'm beautiful everyday, Sweetie."

Curtis: "This is true. I can see you walking down the aisle now. Oh yes I can."
Cara: "Can you? I would think you would be blinded by my 6 carats."
Curtis: "I don't think I would be blinded that much, hee hee.. Here you go. Your chariot awaits my Queen."

Cara: "I'm so glad the day turned out perfect for Danielle. She looked absolutely stunning. Hey what's that look about?"

Curtis: "It's all about you. Cara you are so amazing and beautiful. We did make an appearance at the wedding so how about skipping  the reception all together. We could go celebrate on our own."

Cara: "Curtis, what would Rod think!? You can't just show up at the wedding and then disappear before the reception. That would be so rude to him and Danielle."
Curtis: "Not really, me and Rod are old college friends. Trust me he understand, hee heee. He. really does.  Especially with you in the dress smelling delicious. Hee, hee. heee."
Cara: "That would be rude."
Curtis: "Really? Do you think this is rude?"

Cara: "Let me think about it......"

Cara: "I see your point. but...."

Curtis: "OK off to the reception."
